WHAT IS MASTERS SWIMMING?
~Masters Swimming Australia is a swimming organisation, for people over 18 years of age, that provides an opportunity for adult swimmers to meet on a regular basis to promote FITNESS, FRIENDSHIP and FUN.
OUR CLUB MEETINGS
The club meets on Monday evenings, starting at 6.30pm at the Maida Vale Heated Swimming Pool. (cnr of Kalamunda Road and Gooseberry Hill Road)
These evenings include coaching and training programs as well as opportunities to complete distance swims, not to mention announcements and social get togethers on the first Monday each month. This is the best time to come and meet us and have a swim. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t swum for years as all levels, from those learning to swim through to elite swimmers, are catered for by our qualified coach and experienced volunteers.
TRAINING – Tuesday nights at 6.00pm, sees us complete training programs. The coach is also back on Wednesday nights at 6.00pm, for another session. Both sessions are held at Maida Vale Swimming Pool.
Longer distance AEROBIC swimming – Occasional Saturdays from 3.00pm at Darling Range Sports College, Berkshire Road, Forrestfield.
We participate in local Be Active Club Challenges and State Meets, National and International competitions, as well as a summer full of Open Water swims. Our enthusiastic social coordinator organises an exciting calendar of events to ensure our members have the opportunity to have fun out of the pool as well.
